Flavio Leandro de Souza has a B.Sc. in Physics from Federal University of São Carlos, M.Sc. and PhD from Federal University of São Carlos in Materials Science and Engineering. Thereafter, he worked as a Research Fellow in the Interdisciplinary Research Group of Prof. Leite E.R. at the Nanocharacterization Laboratory in Chemistry Department at Federal University of São Carlos. Currently, he is an accredited researcher by CNPq (The Brazilian Research Council) and Associate Professor at UFABC. He serve as an Associate Editor of the Materials Letters journal. His present research is focused on studying the ion transport in hybrid organic-inorganic polyelectrolyte by impedance spectroscopy, using bottom-up method for the development of nanostructured materials based on metal oxides with particular interest in photoelectrochemical cells (PEC) and solar cells devices.
