Rosana Camarini

Graduada em Farmácia-Bioquímica pela Universidade de São Paulo (1986), mestre em Psicobiologia pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (1992) e doutora em Psicobiologia pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (1997). Fez pós-doutorado no "Ernest Gallo Clinic and Research Center, na University California, San Francisco. Atualmente é professora Associada do Departamento de Farmacologia do Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas da Universidade de São Paulo e Vice-Chefe do Departamento de Farmacologia. Atual Presidente da International Society of Biomedical Research on Alcoholism - ISBRA. Foi Presidente da Sociedade Latino-Americana de Pesquisa Biomédica em Alcoolismo - LASBRA (Latin American Society of Biomedical Research on Alcoholism) entre 2008 e 2013. Em 2014 foi eleita como membro da Diretoria da Sociedade Internacional de Pesquisa Biomédica em Alcoolismo (Board of Directors of the International Society of Biomedical Research on Alcoholism - ISBRA), tendo sido eleita Vice-Presidente Jr. da ISBRA em 2016 (2016-2018) e Vice-Presidente Sênior da ISBRA (2018-2020). Coordenou o Comitê Coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação (CCP) do Departamento de Farmacologia do ICB-USP entre 2013 e 2017. Possui experiência na área de Neuropsicofarmacologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: efeitos do etanol e da cocaína durante o neurodesenvolvimento, efeitos das manipulações ambientais (enriquecimento / estresse) em modelos animais de transtornos por uso de substâncias (TUS), efeitos de manipulações ambientais em pacientes com TUS.
