Lab of Gelatinous Zooplankton - UFABC
LabGel was established in 2014 as part of the Lab of Evolution and Biodiversity I at the Center of Natural and Human Sciences of Federal University of ABC, leaded by Prof. Otto M. P. Oliveira.
The research interests at LabGel are the faunistics, systematics and distribution of the gelatinous zooplankton, focusing on the holoplanktonic groups. The main zoological groups studied are the comb-jellies (ctenophores), siphonophores and hydromedusae.
